Explanation of Your Illness

  1. The physician in charge, nurse in charge, and ward pharmacist will provide an explanation of your illness, treatment, examination, care, and medicine.
  2. Feel free to ask questions if there is something you do not understand.
  3. Feel free to consult if you wish to receive additional advice (second opinion) from a physician outside the Hospital.

Hospital Rooms

  1. Our standard hospital rooms can accompany four to six patients.
  2. Each patient is provided with a bed, bedside table, locker, refrigerator (for a fee), television (for a fee), garbage bin, and a chair.
  3. To prevent loss or theft of items, feel free to use the locking safety box provided in the hospital room. Be sure to lock the safety box when using. We ask that you not bring valuables or large sums of money to the hospital room.

Private Rooms and Special Rooms

  1. Depending on your illness, you may be admitted to a private room, or for a fee, you may ask to be admitted to a private room.
  2. To request a private room, inquire to the staff station at the time of admission or after being admitted. (Please note that we may not be able to fulfill your request.)
  3. Private room usage fee (per day)
    • Special room (1) 13,600 yen (South Ward 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
    • Special room (2) 12,100 yen (South Ward 5, 6, 7)
    • Special room (3) 11,200 yen (North Ward 5)
    • Special room (4) 8,700 yen (North Ward 6)
    • Special room (5) 5,600 yen (North Ward 3)
    • Special room (6) 4,780 yen (South Ward 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and North Ward 4, 5, 6)
    • Semi-private room 1,350 yen (South Ward 6)

    (Note: One day shall be from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM the following day regardless of hospitalization time.)

2. Payment

Your hospitalization expenses will be calculated monthly (close at the end of each month), and a bill will be sent to the hospital room on or around the 10th of the following month (or on the date of discharge if being discharged). Please pay your bill at the Asa Hospital sub-branch of the Hiroshima Shinkin Bank on the first floor of the South Ward (Window No. 5) or at the main office or any branch of the Hiroshima Shinkin Bank.

Note: You may use a credit card to pay your hospitalization expenses.

Inquire at the Admission/Discharge Reception (Window No. 7) on the first floor of the South Ward.
